Boat Neck, Pockets, Cap Sleeves and a full Skirt. Perfect.

Last week, Puese and I went to Jo-ann's. I picked up an inexpensive pattern and actually bought fabric to go with it. I even remembered to get all the appropriate notions. Since I was doing everything "right" I decided to go ahead and continue that pattern, by doing everything "Right". Meaning; I got everything ready before I started, and even ironed out the pattern pieces. The only thing I may have done wrong, at the time, was say: "Yeah, it's okay." To the Jo-ann lady's asking me if it was okay that it wasn't a continuous piece of fabric. THIS is one of those times that I'm SO glad that I always over purchase fabric. I round up from the number of yards the pattern tells me to buy. It said 5 1/4, so I got 6.

I wasn't able to finish this dress yet... All the pieces are cut out, and just need to be put together...

Today is now Wednesday the 20th, and I finally got the pictures transferred... I've been so busy, and I keep forgetting to make time for this. (I've also been working on another pants suit conversion, because the first one was such a success. As well as getting Puese ready for his new job, including hemming his suit pants).
I worked out exactly what I needed.

Then I cut out all the pieces required and ironed them.

Once I had all the pieces, I did my best to follow the graph for laying out the pieces on the fabric... it didn't work out as well as hoped for.

But I eventually got them all cut out (sans the interfacing, I'm choosing to forego that), now they're waiting for me to put them together.
