Drawing Challenge Day 1

After posting today's earlier post, I decided to peruse options for longer term drawing challenges. I finally found one that didn't revolve around my favorite things. Rather it was all about creating superheroes and illustrations around them. I was going to do these for the month of June, but seeing as I had a ton of free time today; I opted to start now. This also works in my favor because it doesn't tie me down to such a specific time line (in my head) If I miss a day, I'm a day ahead already. I also wasn't going to post this until I'd done the first 7 days, which are all character designs... but you can tell I'm not sticking to that either.
As I said; week one is all about character design. Day one my challenge was to create a Big Bruiser character. I'm not generally much for drawing the male form; but I'm pleased with how this came out. I call him Anvil. He is super strong. I also decided to do a quick color job in the computer instead of ruining my pencil with a rotten color job. It's been a long time since I used photoshop, and I wasn't trying very hard; but it's done, and I am pleased.
