This week, I'm stranded in Helenville. This wouldn't be such a bad situation for doing my creative project; after all, I've got plenty of time to do one. However, this environment is draining so it was very difficult for me to come up with a project for this week. (What's new?!)This morning I was perusing the web for art prompts, lots of them involved things that I could not actually draw; like: Draw your favorite tv show, and draw your dream house... Sorry, I don't have a clear enough favorite for things like that. But then I misread one. It was; If you had a dragon what would it look like? I read it as; If you were a monster, what would you look like? Now, I may have gotten that specific prompt mixed up with another one as well as my dyslexia kicking in, but I decided to roll with it, even though it's not what the text was asking for. Hey, I'm the one looking for ideas, if I want to do it different, that's on me. Besides, I already had an image forming in my head. I took a photo of my blahs-eh face for reference, got out my sketch book and colored pencils and set to work.
