Sooooo, I'm now in Wisconsin. Doing the couch surfing thing. I was not sure what I was going to do for my project this week. I did go pick up some crayons and a small set of colored pencils when I got my shampoo the other day, And I'm glad I did. Wednesday morning got to be really eventful. The thing that ended up taking up my whole day was hospital time. My cousin broke her wrist something fierce, and I got to spend the rest of the day here. Good thing I thought to bring my sketch book and pencils. However, I had no idea still what to do. So I asked my cousin what I should draw. She told me to draw a sugar skull. Since I'd never actually drawn one before I decided to start by drawing a regular skull. I looked up a photo of one for reference and I finished it up yesterday. After my house viewings today, I headed back to the hospital and started on the sugar skull. I didn't start it until after she got out of surgery and back to her room. I finally got the color done by the time her anesthesia wore off. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. And am rather impressed with the results of the regular skull as well.
